Something, somebody, someone and somewhere kelimeleri olumlu cümlelerde kullanılır.
Something is burning.
( = I can smell burning. I don't know what is burning.) 		Bir şey yanıyor.
( = Yanık kokusu alabilirim. Ne yandığını bilmem.)
I'm going to have something to eat.
( = I'm going to eat; I don't know what I'm going to eat.) 		Yemek için bir şey alacağım.
( = Yemek yiyeceğim; ne yiyeceğimi bilmem. )
Somebody told me that it was a good film.
( = A person told me it was a good film. I can't remember who told me.) 		Birisi bana onun bir iyi film olduğu söyledi.
( = Bir kişi bana iyi bir film olduğunu söyledi. Kim olduğunu hatırlayamam.)
She lives somewhere in the north. O kuzeyde bir yerde yaşar.

Anything, anybody, anyone and anywhere kelimeleri olumsuz cümlelerde ve soru cümlelerinde kullanılır.
I didn't know anyone at the party.
( = There were no people at the party who I knew.) 		Partideki herhangi birini tanımadım.
( = Partide benim tanıdığım hiç kimse yok.)
I couldn't find my bag anywhere.
( = I couldn't find my bag in any place.) 		Çantamı hiçbir yerde bulamadım.
( = Çantamı hiçbir yerde bulamadım.)
Did you understand anything she said? Siz onun söylediğinden hiçbir şey anladınız mı?

nothing not anything
nobody not anybody
no one not anyone
nowhere not anywhere

Nothing, nobody, no one ve nowhere kelimelerinden önce veya sonraki fiiller olumlu olur.
Nothing makes Joe unhappy.
( = There isn't anything that makes Joe unhappy.) 		Hiçbirşey Joe'yi mutsuz etmez.
( = Joe'yi mutsuz eden hiçbir şey yoktur.)
There's nothing I want to watch on TV. Televizyonda seyretmek istediğim hiç bir şey yok.
Nobody was there when I arrived. Ulaştığım zaman orada hiç kimse yoktu.
There is nowhere that I would prefer to live than here.

something, anybody, nowhere gibi kelimelerden sonra < else > kullanabiliriz.

( = Let's talk about a different subject.) 		Başka bir şeyden bahsetmelidir.
( = Farklı bir konudan bahsetmelidir. )
I didn't tell anybody else.
( = I didn't tell another person. ) 		Başka birine söylemedim.
( = Başka kişiye söylemedim.)
There is nowhere else I can look for it. Onu arayabileceğim başka bir yer yoktur.

something, anybody, nowhere gibi kelimelerden sonra sıfat kullanabiliriz.
